Breaking it down into separate elements was the perfect solution.

Well, done, horse trainer!! *S*Jeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10029423500476995817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-647406862592675556.post-23300598373027049482011-06-21T15:42:48.892-06:002011-06-21T15:42:48.892-06:00Great job! I would love to see some pictures...I bet her muscling is really developing with all your jumping work lately:)Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08665170020323796310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-647406862592675556.post-65591460279654285362011-06-21T14:36:49.147-06:002011-06-21T14:36:49.147-06:00I adore this post :)

I'm pretty sure Yankee wouldn't ever though, ha.Checkmark115https://www.blogger.com/profile/08875106264738444238noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-647406862592675556.post-11220729767528052522011-06-21T13:44:34.713-06:002011-06-21T13:44:34.713-06:00Yep, taking a few steps back and simplifying the e...Yep, taking a few steps back and simplifying the equation to get their confidence is key. Then gradually making it more challenging makes the once-terrifying thing doable.Good on ya!Frizzlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03084225669041286128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-647406862592675556.post-29446646477911253102011-06-21T12:20:44.892-06:002011-06-21T12:20:44.892-06:00Yay! Start with the v-poles very wide at the ends of the barrel to funnel her in. Then just sit up, look up and ahead, keep your hands very quiet and use your leg to keep her straight to the base. She'll soar right over I'm sure :) You're making me want to jump again!!!Nicku Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07006911603623063201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-647406862592675556.post-53455702518490113242011-06-21T09:42:01.114-06:002011-06-21T09:42:01.114-06:00Good work - breaking things down almost always mak...Good work - breaking things down almost always makes it easier.
