Christmas Time!!

I've spent the past week being anxious/depressed/generally annoyed because I hate winter. Then Wednesday I got my first ride this month (more on that later) AND my blogger secret santa present. Thank you so much to Amanda over at An Eventful life!!! I just found her blog (and like it) and I am super excited to use the soap. :-D Plus it's perfect timing since I just dirtied my tack.

Also thanks to Tracy at Fly on Over for organizing the exchange. :-) This day makes me so happy.

I think I can deal with a few more weeks of fog and cold and snow now that I have beautiful soap to try out and sniff.

  2. HOORAY! You got it! I ordered it a while ago and I have been refreshing the tracking every couple of hours for days now and driving myself nuts. It was stuck in California forever.

I will be interested to hear a review of it, I was thisclose to ordering some for myself but have plenty of saddle soap already. I keep hearing such good things about it, though!

  8. Exciting! I bought the little Christmas gift pack from higher standards for my barn's white elephant. It came with 3 little soaps and the leather balm...thinking of keeping the vanilla lavender for myself, nothing wrong there, right?

  9. This soap is the best! The rosemary mint is not my favorite but one of my friends loved it. The sugar and spice smells lovely and the vanilla lavender is also great. All of its great! I got 2 sampler packs and gave each of my barn mates a small trial jar for Christmas :)

  10. There is now way you could possibly not love the HS soap--I have been a diehard Effax fan for over a decade, and I am now a total HS convert! The absolute best one so far is the Sugar & Spice (which I actually licked b/c it smells so good), and the vanilla mint is a close runner-up.
Of course, it does help that I am totally in cahoots w/Libby! ;-)
She is awesome, and we're sharing a tent @ Red Hills this spring--I can not wait!!
