Horse Girl Problems

This year, I am attempting to have somewhat less of a farmer tan and MAYBE even off-white (as opposed to see through) legs. Mixed success on that front.
Roxy has problems too

Part of the initiative involves wearing those swanky sunshirts I snagged in sales in the off season. Right? Keeps the sun off, which helps keep people from getting cancer and also limits the amount of sunscreen I have to wear which probably also helps reduce the risk of cancer. Plus they're trendy. Aside from showing every possibly unflattering lump, what could be wrong with these trendy beauties?
yeah that's me and lindsey #noshame

Cough

I call it the "sun shirt line".

  1. I can't decide if this is better or worse than the dreaded "glove tan"

  6. Lol. I have the same sun shirt tan. I'm basically only tan on the tops of my feet and ankles (from the boat shoes) and on my hands.

Lucky me being so pale that my "tan" barely shows.

  7. That dog is amazing. I've given up and embraced the farmer's tan for life.

  8. I feel you on the lumps. In my experience, the EIS shirts show less lumps than the other brands I've tried because the fabric is a little stiffer and thicker. They are kind of pricey compared to most of the other options out there, but they do create a smoother picture. They won't help at all with the glove tan line though...

  9. I'm a purist. Still rocking the traditional t-shirt and glove tan lines over here. And my legs are so pale I think they're actually blue.

  10. It seems like the harder I try, the more lines I end up with

  12. When I started taking immune suppressant drugs I learned that they cause a horrible, horrible itchy reaction if you are exposed to the sun. My wardrobe is now based on Marlon Brando in "The Island of Dr. Moreau". In short, I envy your tan lines. Although, I do now look every bit the part of "eccentric Dressage Queen", so that's kind of fun.

  13. My tan lines start at the shoulder. Tank tops. But I'm out in the sun either early morning or late afternoon so its not so much a burn, just gradual tanning. I don't do the whole 'burn & tan' thing anymore.

  14. tan chest, arms and NOTHING else. I don't think my legs have seen the sun since 2008

  15. My current watch/glove tan line is intense. As is the "I'm not riding until later so I'm wearing clogs around the show for 6 hours" foot tan.
